Satellite Chapters
The AUVSI Florida Peninsula Chapter represents everything uncrewed, remotely piloted, and autonomous throughout the vast majority of the State of Florida. To assist in this mission, we have established the following four satellite chapters to help serve specific needs and markets of Florida. A summary of our satellite chapters is below.
Miami
Focusing on South Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Home of USSOUTHCOM.
Jacksonville
Representing Northeastern Florida and home to multiple U.S. Navy installations.
Space Coast
The heart of Florida's legendary aerospace industry along the middle East Coast.
Tampa
Covering Florida's West Coast and home to USCENTCOM and USSOCOM.
Supporting Public Safety
The AUVSI Florida Peninsula Chapter has partnered with AIRT, Inc. -- the nation's leading 501(c)3 non-profit organization supporting drones for disaster response and home to DRONERESPONDERS -- to create the DRONERESPONDERS Florida Public Safety Coordination Group (FLOGRU). FLOGRU is designed to serve as a model for integrating private-public partnerships to support the use of drones and other robotic systems by public safety and emergency services organizations within regional jurisdictions.
